Wacker's Roadhouse will close on Sunday, Nov. 5.

WILLOW STREET, Pa. — Wacker Brewing Company on Thursday announced it will permanently close Wacker's Roadhouse in Willow Street on Sunday.

The Lancaster County brewing company made the revelation on its Facebook page.

"Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same," the announcement reads. "That’s exactly what we feel at this moment when we make the bittersweet announcement to you that Wacker’s Roadhouse will be closing our doors on November 5th."

The company encourages patrons to continue visiting until Sunday's closing date and said it will honor all gift cards until that time.

Located in a former warehouse space adjacent to Lancaster Harley-Davidson at 312 Beaver Valley Pike in Willow Street, Wacker's Roadhouse opened in March 2021. The renovated space featured a 90-seat taproom, a 12-seat bar and served barbecue and burgers along with Wacker beer.

Wacker Brewing Co. was originally founded in 1853 and was the oldest brewery in Lancaster when it closed in 1956. The label was revived in 2014 by owners Bryan and Carolyn Kepner, according to LancasterOnline.

"To our multi-talented trivia host, all our gifted musicians, loyal bike groups, amazing customers, and our outstanding community partners, and last but not least, to Ben, our brewer who did so much more than brew – We appreciate you all more than you know!" the closing announcement said. "Our sincere thanks for being part of our extended Wacker family and for sharing so many memories over the years!

"And of course, to our friends at Lancaster Harley-Davidson (also past and present) – our deepest thanks for a wonderful partnership! Working side by side – literally – has been very rewarding on so many levels!"

Wacker Roadhouse will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Kitchen service ends an hour before closing each day.
