Lancaster Police seek help identifying two suspected vandals at Penn Square demonstration

Police say the duo was part of a group that dipped their hands in red paint and left handprints on the soldiers monument, fountain and other areas on the square.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster Police are asking for help identifying two people suspected of vandalizing Penn Square during a protest earlier this month.

According to police, on May 11, the two suspects were part of a group that dipped their hands in red paint and left handprints on the brick, lamp posts, fountain, monument and curbs in the downtown Lancaster square.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Lancaster Police at (717) 735-3300 or submit a tip online.
