Police investigating attempted child luring in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a reported attempted child luring in Cumberland County.

According to PSP, on April 16 at 4 p.m., Troopers with PSP Carlisle received a report of an attempted child luring that occurred along the 200 block of Neil Road in Southampton Township. 

During the incident, an unidentified man with a short beard driving a black Dodge Challenger attempted to lure a child into his car, according to PSP. 

No force was used during the attempt.
