YORK, Pa. — A York County teen has been sentenced to up to life in prison for a 2021 murder.
According to the York County District Attorney's Office, Alexis Cado-Suero, 18, was found guilty of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a minor following a four-day trial.
Cado-Suero will serve 45 years to life in prison for shooting and killing 16-year-old Tyree Smart on March 27, 2021, along the 300 block of West Newton Avenue.
