Dutch Wonderland welcomes characters from the PBS TV show 'Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood'

Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat will vist the Lancaster County amusement park every weekend from April 27 through May 19.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Some new characters are on their way to Dutch Wonderland.

The Lancaster County amusement park said Thursday that Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from the popular PBS children's TV show "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" will visit every weekend from April 27 through May 19 as part of the Kingdom for Kids' "Eggcellent Celebration."

The characters will be available for exclusive meet-and-greets at Dutch Wonderland's Market Square, will host Daniel Tiger's Bubble Dance Party.

The Dutch Wonderland Entertainment Crew will also read popular Daniel Tiger stories at Storytime Corner, the park said.

"We are thrilled to partner with Fred Rogers Productions as we continue to expand our spring event lineup with more entertainment for our guests," said Dutch Wonderland general manager Megan Hartman. "This partnership is just one more way we're expanding our 2024 events to offer guests something new and exciting throughout every visit to the kingdom."

The "Eggcellent Celebration" features more than 7,000 live blooming flowers, massive Easter eggs scattered around the kingdom, an interactive scavenger hunt with the chance to win great prizes, fun family photo opportunities, seasonally inspired treats and more, Dutch Wonderland said.

The park opened for the year on March 29, its earliest opening in history.

The "Eggcellent Celebration" continues through May 19. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Dutchwonderland.com.
