Harrisburg Police arrest suspect in November 2023 shooting

Dayshawn "Boosie" Lee, 32, is accused of shooting another man multiple times on the 1500 block of Vernon Street in the city last November. He was arrested Tuesday.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Harrisburg Police have arrested a suspect in a November 2023 shooting that left one person injured in the city.

Dayshawn Lamont "Boosie" Lee, 32, of Harrisburg, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license and illegal possession of a firearm in connection to a shooting that seriously injured another man on Nov. 5, 2023, according to a criminal complaint affidavit filed by police 10 days after the alleged incident.

According to police, the shooting occurred on the 1500 block of Vernon Street at 1:24 a.m. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his stomach, right thigh and left hand, police said.

Though he was seriously injured, the victim told investigators that he had been shot by a man nicknamed "Boosie." 

The victim later identified positively identified Lee from a photo lineup, according to police.

Lee was arrested on Tuesday, police said.
