Police in Harrisburg are investigating a shooting after they found a limping man with a gun shot wound to his leg around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers were called to the area of Cameron and Herr Streets where the 33-year-old victim told police that he was walking home from a friend’s house when he was approached by a black male asking him for a lighter.
As the victim was reaching for the lighter, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot him in his left thigh, police said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and police say he is expected to make a full recovery.
Police are describing the suspect as a tall and skinny black male, wearing all black clothing and a scarf or a ski mask on his face.
