Penn State landed in Indianapolis today and as they prepare for the big game, the town is preparing to welcome all the fans.
“They should expect a lot of friendly people. We love our sports, we’re a sports town. Downtown is walk able, there’s about five or six square blocks huddled around there that everybody is going to hang out at and have a good time,” said Jason Randolph, a local Indianapolis sports fan.
The Penn State Alumni Association is holding a mixer at Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown the night before the game. A charter bus filled with items for the party unloaded earlier today.
“We hosted a Wisconsin parry for the Final Four and they always had a real good time. So I think the Penn State fans and their alumni have a lot to look forward to,” said Andrea Smith, an Indianapolis sports fan.
More than 300 people are expected to show up to the party, and a whole lot more tomorrow.
Remember you can watch the big game on FOX 43, kickoff will be just after 8 p.m.
