LANCASTER CITY, Pa- Police in Lancaster arrested a man after he attempted to rob a couple at their apartment.
According to police, on Wednesday just after 10:00 p.m. officers were called to the apartment along the 100 block of S. Queen Street. The man inside told police that a man he knew, Michael Perez, was at the front door, demanding money from them.
He also said Perez had a gun and that Perez threaten him by saying if he did not give him money he was going to put a hole in his stomach. The woman then called police.
When officers arrived they found Perez on the front porch. Officers patted him down and found a black in color Hi Point Model CF380 semi automatic handgun in his waistband.
The handgun contained one round in the chamber and a magazine containing eight additional rounds.
Perez is only 19 years old and not legally able to posses a concealed firearm, police said.
Perez, is now charged with Robbery and Firearms not to be Carried Without a License.
