Lemoyne man arrested in connection to a counterfeit money operation.
Police say that Tyler E. Lyden, 27, of Lemoyne confessed to both printing and passing counterfeit money at multiple different places. Police have determined that Lyden matches the description from three previous cases of counterfeit money trying to be used. One incident from July 30 at McDonald’s on Limekiln Road, two other incidents at a Smokers Express and Dairy Queen at 110 Old York Road.
Lyden has been identified as the offender or suspect in 80 other active counterfeit money cases in the area.
Lyden is being charged with three counts of Forgery and one count of Theft by Deception.
Charges in other jurisdiction are still pending.
