Duffy suffers from myelodysplastic syndromes, also know as MDS, a blood and bone marrow disorder.
He has been receiving low-dose chemotherapy at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore to prepare for the upcoming transplant.
Since there are so many expenses involved with the process, friends and family gathered on Saturday afternoon for a basket and gift card raffle. Supporters say they’re just doing their part to help little Joey.
