NICE COOL DOWN
Temperatures take a drop back to more seasonable numbers in the 70s. High-pressure building in provides plenty of sunshine and more comfortable air. Morning lows are back in the 50s too. You can expect temperatures to range from the middle to upper 70s Thursday and with continued sunshine, highs are a tad warmer in the upper 70s and lower 80s to end the week.
How about some perfect football weather! Our HSFF game of the week is between Conestoga Valley at Lampeter-Strasburg. Should be a pleasant evening with comfortable temperatures. By the end of the game, you may need a sweatshirt or light jacket as temperatures fall out of the 70s into the 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK
You can expect half of the weekend to be dry with showers threatening the other half. Saturday is the dry day with partly sunny skies. It is mild and more humid with highs in the lower to middle 80s. A cold front swings in for Sunday bringing afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures once again climb to the lower 80s.
EARLY NEXT WEEK
High pressure builds back in across the area bringing drier air and sunshine. After morning lows in the lower 60s, temperatures top out in the lower 80s. With dry air in place, abundant sunshine expected for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid-80s!
