Police investigating overnight shooting that sent 10-year-old to hospital

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police in Harrisburg are investigating an overnight shooting that left a 10-year-old girl injured.

At around midnight on Saturday, officers were called to the 400 block of Crescent Street for a report of shots fired.

Once at the scene, officers found a girl with a single gunshot wound; she was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition. 

The shooting remains under active investigation.
