6 men arrested in Cumberland County on soliciting prostitution accusations

District Attorney Sean M. McCormack vowed that "Cumberland County is off limits to commercial sexual exploitation" and law enforcement will continue these operations

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Editor's note: The above video is from Jan. 18.

The latest phase in the Cumberland County Human Trafficking Task Force's netted six arrests of men who were allegedly trying to exchange money for sex.

The county's District Attorney's Office announced today that the Task Force conducted Operation Impact Demand VII in coordination with the Silver Spring Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office on March 28. 

“Our message is clear, Cumberland County is off limits to commercial sexual exploitation," District Attorney Seán M. McCormack said in a press release. "Individuals, like the ones just arrested during our latest operation – Impact Demand VII – who are paying for sex is what attracts human traffickers to our community. Since we began these operations in June of 2022, we have now arrested a total of 66 individuals. We will continue to conduct these operations.”

The following individuals are accused of trying to to engage female escorts in sexual activity for money at a Silver Spring Township Hotel:

  • Daxen Patel, Enola, Age 25 
  • Larry Steele, Elizabethtown, Age 44 
  • Pablo Nunez, Harrisburg, Age 44 
  • Philip Walters, Lewisberry, Age 35 
  • Phillip Reese, Mechanicsburg, Age 39 
  • Suhaib Alqaddomi, Mechanicsburg, Age 34

They will be required to appear at District Court 09-3-04 for a preliminary hearing.

Enforcement operations will continue to be performed throughout Cumberland County, and perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, the DA's Office said.
