Police are searching for convicted sexual predator in Perry County

Barry Allen Bostwick, 60, did not show up to a sentencing hearing on September 14, 2023 and has been at large ever since, authorities say.

PERRY COUNTY, Pa. — Authorities in Perry County are searching for a convicted sexually violent predator who failed to show up for a sentencing hearing last September.

Barry Allen Bostwick, 60, did not show up for a sentencing hearing on Sept. 14, 2023, after previously being convicted of multiple counts of deviate sexual intercourse with a child, 22 other felonies and six related misdemeanors.

Bostwick has been at large ever since, and the Perry County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Perry County Sheriff's Office at (717) 582-5123, Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at (800) 4PA-TIPS or submit an anonymous tip online.

All callers to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest, the solving of a crime/cold case or the location of a wanted person/fugitive or missing person.
