Power outages spread across central Pennsylvania

As wind advisories are being put into effect throughout the Commonwealth, many have been left without power.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — As high winds blow into Pa. communities, many households across central Pennsylvania have found themselves without power.

We have compiled a list of reported power outages countywide, along with their estimated repair times, that have been caused by the weather (all data is accurate as of the time of publishing):

Adams County

  • 21-100 Met-Ed customers in the New Oxford area are without power due to tree damage
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday
  • 21-100 Met-Ed customers in the Lake Meade area are without power due to unknown causes.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday

Cumberland County

  • 211 PPL customers in Lower Allen Township are without power due to weather conditions.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
  • 97 PPL customers in Lower Allen Township/New Cumberland are without power due to weather conditions.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
  • 106 PPL customers in Hays Grove are without power due to tree climbs getting caught in wires.
    • The estimated repair time is 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Dauphin County

  • 805 PPL customers in the Chambers Hill area of Harrisburg are without power due to tree limbs getting caught in wires.
    • The estimated repair time is 8 p.m. today.
  • 245 PPL customers in the Uptown area of Harrisburg are without power due to tree limbs getting caught in wires
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
  • 113 PPL customers in the Paxtang area of Harrisburg are without power due to weather conditions.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lancaster County

  • 2,285 PPL customers in Pequea Township are without power due to a tripped breaker or blown fuse.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
  • 100 PPL customers in the New Providence area are without power due to weather conditions.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lebanon County

  • 101-500 Met-Ed customers in the Campbelltown area are without power due to unknown causes.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday.
  • 101-500 Met-Ed customers in the Mt. Wilson area are without power due to unknown causes.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday.
  • 101-500 Met-Ed customers are without power in the Jonestown area due to inclement weather.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday.

York County

  • 21-100 Met-Ed customers in the York City area are without power due to tree damage.
    • The estimated repair time is 11 p.m. on Monday.
