Flooding on Conestoga Creek Road

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — West Earl Township, Lancaster County is experiencing roadway flooding throughout the Township, authorities warned on Monday morning, Dec. 18.

Drivers are asked to use extreme caution and do not go around barricades and road closure signs. The West Earl Township Police Department reminds motorists that these signs are there for their protection.

Do not drive into flood waters even if it seems safe—it's likely not. Underwater debris that is invisible to the eye and fast-moving water currents can quickly disable your vehicle regardless of your vehicle's size.

  • Cider Mill Road at Conestoga Creek
  • Conestoga Creek Road at Cats Back Road
  • Cocalico Creek Road and South State Street at Lions Park

Drivers are asked to please plan their routes accordingly this morning and use extreme caution.
