HERSHEY, Pa. — Community members across central Pa. joined together to donate 74,599 stuffed animals during the Hershey Bears Teddy Bear Toss game.

Bogdan Trineyev scored the goal that unleashed the Bears from the stands a little over four minutes into the second period, giving Hershey a 1-0 lead; Hardy Haman Aktell and Chase Prisikie additionally were credited in assisting Trineyev in scoring.

After a more than 40-minute delay to clear the ice, the Phantoms took the lead.

Jordy Bellerive managed to tie the scores once the time was beginning to approach the 16-minute mark in the second period; Adam Brooks gave Lehigh Valley the lead just a couple of minutes later.

Mike Sgarbossa tied it up a little more than 14 minutes into the third period, which sent the game to overtime.

However, the Bears were able to nab the win with Alex Limoges securing the game for Hershey in overtime.
