Reward increased to $22,000 for information on release of minks in Pennsylvania

The reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the mink release in September, initially offered at $5,000, has now increased to $22,000.

SUNBURY, Pa. — The reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever released hundreds of minks from a farm in Northumberland County has increased.

State police say someone broke into the fur farm near Sunbury back in September and let hundreds of minks out of their cages.

The reward that was initially set at $5,000 has now risen to $22,000.
