2.4 magnitude earthquake confirmed in Berks County

According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake was confirmed on Friday afternoon in Spring Township.

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. — Two weeks after an earthquake was felt throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania, residents in Berks County felt yet another earthquake on Friday afternoon.

The United States Geological Survey confirmed a 2.4-magnitude earthquake in Spring Township's Lincoln Park neighborhood around 4 p.m.

There were no reports of damages. 

This earthquake follows a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in New Jersey earlier this month.
