York Police trying to locate man injured in reported stabbing

The victim appeared to sustain an injury in a stabbing that occurred Wednesday on the 1000 block of Wayne Avenue, according to police.

York Police are trying to identify and locate this man, who they believe was injured in a stabbing earlier this week.

YORK, Pa. — Police in York County are trying to locate a man who was injured in a stabbing in the city Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 5:46 p.m. on the 1000 block of Wayne Avenue, according to York City Police.

Officers dispatched to the scene found evidence that a stabbing occurred, but both the victim and the suspect had fled the scene before their arrival, police said.

Authorities are concerned about injuries received by the man in the attached photo and are trying to locate him.
