2 taken to hospital after York house fire

According to York County Dispatch, the fire began just before 7 p.m. on Sunday.

YORK, Pa. — Crews in York City are battled a three-alarm fire that has spread to multiple houses.

According to York County Dispatch, firefighters were sent to the 500 block of North Pershing Avenue at 6:45 p.m.

The York Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 627 IAFF confirmed that one occupant was rescued shortly after crews arrived.

Officials at the scene told FOX43 that two people were transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation treatment.

Dispatch confirmed that there were no injuries.
