LEBANON, Pa. — Police in Lebanon are investigating the death of a gunshot victim Thursday night.
Hector Pomales-Torres, 24, died of a gunshot injury at 9:50 p.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital in the city, according to Lebanon Police.
An investigation determined Pomales-Torres was in his home on the 700 block of Lehman Street before the shooting. Police said another occupant of the home was handling a firearm that discharged and struck Pomales-Torres.
The incident remains under investigation, according to police.
Authorities did not identify the person handling the firearm, nor did they say if any charges would be filed.
