LITITZ, Pa. — A Lancaster County man has been charged with the rape of a child, Lititz Police said Friday.
Walter Omar Hernandez-Sosof, 28, raped the victim multiple times for months, Lititz Police allege.
The sexual abuse was reported to police on Dec. 7. Hernandez-Sosof was taken into custody on Friday after consultation with the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
He is charged with rape of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault of a child less than 13, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children, and terroristic threats, according to police.
The alleged rapes occurred in a home on Pennwick Drive, police say.
Hernandez-Sosof was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Chudzik, who set bail at $500,000. He was then committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of the bail.
