LANCASTER, Pa. — A man is dead following a reported lawnmower incident.
According to Lancaster County 911 Dispatch, emergency crews were dispatched to the 1900 block of Orville Road in East Hempfield Township just after noon.
The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene. Upon arrival, they found a man at the base of a steep drop-off and a riding lawnmower nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner identified the man who died as 72-year-old Arthur Best, the homeowner. An autopsy has been scheduled.
