Lancaster County gears up for 2023 Extraordinary Give

The event, which is hosted by the Lancaster County Community Foundation, aims to benefit local non-profits and will begin on Nov. 17.

The Lancaster County Community Foundation's 2023 ExtraGive event is beginning to take shape, as local non-profits eagerly await the Nov. 17 start date.

Over 400 organizations partnered with the 24-hour fundraising event to grow their donor base and get the chance to spread more knowledge on how they benefit the community.

Alongside the potential of new donors getting to know the non-profits, the Foundation is hosting ExtraGive webinars and gifting social media kits to all participants. The webinars will include ways for organizations to build their resources, and market themselves to a wider audience.

ExtraGive is also bringing back the Sponsor Match! The Sponsor Match works by having the non-profit approach a sponsor directly for a donation, and then after giving proper documentation, the Foundation matches up to $100,000 total.

The Stretch Pool is again offered, along with a variety of other prizes, with at least half a million dollars that will be distributed based on the organization's number of unique donors.

Once the ExtraGive event begins, donations can be made on the website directly to a specific organization, or to the Stretch Pool.
