1 dead after shooting in Lancaster

Officials are asking anyone with information to contact the Lancaster City Police.

LANCASTER, Pa. — One person is dead following a shooting in Lancaster County on Saturday evening.

Lancaster City Police responded to a call for shots fired on the 400 block of South Prince Street on Saturday, around 5:28 p.m.

At the scene, officers found Elliot Corbin, 19 of Lancaster, with a gunshot injury. 

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries; an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Police confirmed they are actively pursuing leads and gathering information as part of their investigation into this homicide.
