Pumpkin glass blowing at Keystone College

The glass-blowing workshop on Saturday gave people the chance to make their very own one-of-a-kind pumpkin.

FACTORYVILLE, Pa. — It was a unique Halloween experience in Lackawanna County as folks came out for a pumpkin glass-blowing workshop at Keystone College.

People there learned how to make their own special decorative pumpkins.

The head of the glass-blowing program says it's exciting to share this with some new faces.

"It's kinda flashy; it's hot, there's a lot of things going on. Most people don't know much about it, so they get real excited, which gets us excited that we get to share something that we love with new people all of the time," said Brandon Smith, Keystone Glass Program Head.

Around 40 people attended the pumpkin glass-blowing class Saturday at Keystone College.
