Fort Indiantown Gap plans to dispose of explosives; public may hear loud noises

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. — Residents of Lebanon County may hear loud explosions today.

Fort Indiantown Gap warned the public that it will detonate dud ammunition at Bollen Range between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

Explosives Ordnance Disposal personnel will take care of the explosives and say locals may hear loud noises throughout the day.

The Gap also has a training exercise scheduled for March 28 that it says could get noisy.
