LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A crash yesterday afternoon has left one person dead, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Noble Road and Kirkwood Pike (Route 472) just before 4:10 p.m. on April 29. The Colerain Township crash involved a Ford Edge and a Kawasaki motorcycle, Pennsylvania State Police said

Troopers say the SUV was stopped at a posted stop sign on Noble Road as the motorcycle was approaching the intersection from the south on Kirkwood Pike. The driver of the Edge allegedly pulled out in front of the motorcycle without enough room.

The 31-year-old motorcycle driver was thrown from his bike when he hit the car, according to PSP. He died of his serious injuries en route to the hospital.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured, State Police said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
