1 killed in Dauphin County crash

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash in Dauphin County.

The crash occurred along Essex Street between Monroe and Main Street in Swatara Township on Sunday morning, officials said. 

It involved a motorcycle and a car.

Christian Brito-Bruno, 29, of Highspire, was killed in the incident. His cause of death was ruled multiple traumatic injuries and the manner accidental. 

An investigation determined the motorcycle was traveling east on Poplar Alley when it struck the car, which was traveling north on Essex Street. 

The crash is being investigated by the Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team. Anyone with information that can assist with the investigation is asked to contact Swatara Police at 717-564-2550 or through email to Officer Ryder at BRyder@SwataraPolice.org.
