Police seek help identifying suspected burglar at Derry Township storage facility

The suspect cut through a chain-link fence and broke into several storage units, stealing multiple items, on April 12 in Hershey, police claim.

HERSHEY, Pa. — Police are looking for help identifying the suspect in a burglary at a Dauphin County self-storage facility.

The incident occurred at 1:32 a.m. on April 12 at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hershey, located on Old West Chocolate Avenue, according to Derry Township Police.

The suspect, a middle-aged white male, cut through a chain-link fence to gain entry to the facility, police said. Once inside, he cut the locks off several storage units and removed several items before leaving the scene.

He was last seen walking toward the railroad tracks on the 1000 block of Old West Chocolate Avenue, according to police.
