CARLISLE, Pa. — A Carlisle man died in a fiery crash Saturday in South Middleton Township, state police said Monday.
Mason A. Kelley, 24, of Carlisle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash, which occurred at 12:21 a.m. on E. Old York Road, state police said.
According to police, Kelley was driving west when his vehicle traveled into the eastbound lane, left the roadway for unknown reasons, and passed through a grassy area before striking a tree head-on. His vehicle immediately burst into flames, police said.
Kelley was dead by the time emergency personnel arrived, state police said.
