YORK — A York resident is warning others about a potential scam call he received this week.
The resident said the call consists of a recorded message from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Office. The recording said there was a problem with the resident’s Social Security Number and asked him to provide the number to verify it.
The resident did not comply.
