YORK COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE: A man is wanted for a shooting that left one person in the hospital.
Bruce Murray, 25, is wanted on homicide and aggravated assault, among other related charges.
On October 14 around 1:15 a.m., police were dispatched to the area outside of Pandora’s Box in the 400 block of E. Market St. in York.
Upon arrival, police found a victim with a gunshot wound laying on the sidewalk.
The wound was to the victim’s stomach area, and he was transported to York Hospital and immediately went into surgery.
His condition is unknown at this time.
While investigating the incident, police located two .40 caliber spent shell casings at the scene.
Detectives were able to view video surveillance of the incident, in which the victim and suspect were seen together talking inside the rear of the bar before going into the bathroom together.
As they come out of the bathroom, they were escorted out of the front door of the bar.
Once outside, the suspect is seen pulling a handgun from his right jacket pocket before he walks into the breezeway just west of the bar.
The victim follows the suspect, before being shot and falling to the ground.
Then, the suspect proceeds to walk westbound out of the area.
Three witnesses were able to identify the suspect as Murray to police, and it was found that he had been arrested in 2012 on a felony drug charge, making it illegal for him to own a handgun.
