YORK, Pa. – York City Police arrest five people on Thursday on prostitution charges. The department’s Neighborhood Enforce Unit conducted a prostitution detail using Backpage.com. During the detail, officers made arrests for both prostitution and soliciting prostitution.
Arrested:
Chad L. Fetrow, 32, York Haven, soliciting prostitution.
Michael H. Brown, 31, York, soliciting prostitution.
Joengie J. Escalera, 18, Allentown, prostitution.
Richard W. Schinitker, 53, Shrewsbury, soliciting prostitution.
Tivonia N. Silmon, 33, Elizabethtown, prostitution.
All five suspects were transported to central booking for processing and released. A summons will be filed against each person.
