NEW FREEDOM, Pa. – A 36-year-old woman died Monday, nearly a week after she shot herself and her 11-year-old son in York County.
The York County Coroner’s office said Jennifer Liszewski died around 3 a.m. from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
According to police reports, Liszewski shot her 11-year-old son and then turned the gun on herself in their New Freedom home on April 29.
The boy remains hospitalized and is still listed in critical condition.
Southern Regional Police Department continue to investigate.
