Police arrest a Mechanicsburg man for allegedly assaulting a child.
Upper Allen Police received reports that a child had been sexually assaulted on Thursday.
After police investigation, they arrested Thomas Easley, 49, from the 800 block of Flintlock Ridge Road.
Easley surrendered to police on Friday and is being charged with Endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and harassment.
He is now in Cumberland County prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a later date.
