LEBANON, PA(WPMT)- Three arrests following a raid on a suspected meth lab in Lebanon City. On Wednesday, It happened the Drug Task Force along with, DEA agents and heavily armed police executed a search warrant forced their way into a home at 1571 North 7th Street.
Three people in the home , Michael P. Meagher, 42, Chad Himmelberger, 36 of Port Clinton, and Leighann Marks, 31, of Myerstown, were taken into custody.
A search of the residence uncovered a meth manufacturing operation including glassware, pseudoephedrine, drain cleaner, acetone, iodine and other items utilized in the manufacturing process.
A Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team was called came in to dismantle the setup and package and remove the hazardous materials.
Charges against all three suspects include Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors and Chemicals used in the methamphetamine manufacturing process, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Causing or Risking Catastrophe and Criminal Conspiracy.
During the investigation, police noted Marks had suffered a recent injury underneath her left eye. It was alleged Himmelberger had punched her in the face the previous evening. As a result, Himmelberger was also charged with one count of Simple Assault – Domestic Violence as Himmelberger and Marks were in a relationship.
Police believe other individuals conspired with Meagher and Himmelberger to obtain the chemicals and materials necessary to make the controlled substance, specifically pseudoephedrine, which is a restricted purchase item and will be investigating further to determine their identities.
Following arraignment Meagher and Himmelberger were committed to Lebanon County Prison in lieu of $100,000 each. Marks’ bail is set at $75,000
