LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – Police are on the lookout for a suspect in a strong arm robbery late Wednesday afternoon in Akron Borough.  It happened at Vaitl Notary Services, 550 South Seventh Street, just before 3 pm.

The suspect walked into the business and opened a cash drawer behind the counter.  An employee attempted to stop him but was overpowered.  The employee suffered a hand injury.  The suspect took some cash from the drawer and fled on foot.

He is seen on surveillance video running from the business through the parking lot to nearby Cocalico Creek Road where he got into the front passenger seat of an awaiting cream colored, early 2000 model, Cadillac DeVille.  The vehicle fled, traveling west on Cocalico Creek Road toward Newport Road.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 6 feet in height, and thin build. He was wearing a white hoodie with black graphics on the front, blue jeans, black ski-mask, and tinted yellow glasses.
