HERSHEY, Pa. – Seven local high school seniors are among the 755 high school seniors nationwide nominated to play in the 2016 McDonald’s All American Games in Chicago.

The list includes players from 49 states and the District of Columbia who have been selected by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

Four of the 11 male players nominated from Pennsylvania are from Harrisburg, York, Hershey, Mechanicsburg and Manchester. Two  are team mates at  York’s William Penn High School. Three of the 15 female players nominated are from Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Manchester.

Male Nominees:
• Anthony Johnson, Harrisburg High School, Harrisburg
• Kristopher, Johnson, William Penn High School, York
• Montrel Morgan, William Penn High School, York
• Dylan Painter, Hershey High School, Hershey

Female Nominees:
• Tysha Brown, Harrisburg High School, Harrisburg
• Kelly Jekot, Cumberland Valley High School, Mechanicsburg
• Jordyn Kloster, Northeastern High School, Manchester

McDonald’s will name the final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls who will be selected to play in the 2016 Games during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU, airing Sunday, January 17 at 10:30 p.m.

“The owners/operators of McDonald’s in Central Pennsylvania are very excited that seven players from our region have been nominated for the 2016 McDonald’s All American Games,” said Brenda Pettersen, president of the Central Pennsylvania Co-Op of McDonald’s restaurants. “It’s an honor to have these players’ talents recognized at the national level and we are proud to have them representing us from Central Pennsylvania as nominees for the 2016 McDonald’s All American Games.”

The 39th Annual Boys Game will tip-off on Wednesday, March 30, at 9:00 pm from Chicago’s United Center and will be broadcast on ESPN. The 15th Annual Girls Game will precede the Boys Game, beginning at 6:30 pm and will broadcast live on ESPNU. Information regarding tickets for the 2016 McDonald’s All American Games is available at Ticketmaster. Tickets for the 2016 Games go on sale Saturday, February 6 at 11 a.m. Tickets start as low as $10 and include free parking. There is also the popular family four-pack option which includes four tickets, four soft drinks and four hot dogs – all for $53.
