LANCASTER, Pa.–A 23-year-old man responsible for a string of eight robberies across Lancaster County was sentenced Friday to up to 64 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Andrew D. Westry robbed numerous stores at gunpoint in six different municipalities in 2014, targeting convenience stores, dollar bargain stores – and Wendy’s and Little Caesar’s restaurants.
Westry, formerly of South Lime Street, plead guilty to counts of robbery and conspiracy, and illegal possession of a firearm. A prior felony drug-dealing conviction prohibits him from having a gun.
