LEBANON, Pa- Police are investigating an incident that left one man wounded from a gun shot to the butt.
According to police on December 17th just after 2:30 a.m. police were called to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a 29-year-old man who was shot in the butt.
The victim, who is employed by Capital Leasing, told police that he was working on a truck on the north side of the property when he heard a pop then felt a sting in his leg. He stated that he saw nobody in the area and had no idea who shot him or why.
Police canvassed the area and found no witnesses or leads.
Following an investigation it was determined that the victim’s initial statement to police was false. Police determined that he was shot inside the garage area of the business by a person known to him.
The circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation.
The injuries to the victim are not life threatening.
Police are still investigating.
