Police in Dauphin County are seeking to identify a woman who attempted to buy a pack of cigarettes with a phony $100 bill. It happened at about 8:30 pm Tuesday evening at the Rite Aid on Walnut Street in Susquehanna Township.

An alert cashier was able to spot the counterfeit bill and call police. The suspect, realizing her situation, ran out of the store. Investigators released a surveillance photo of the suspect in hopes someone will identify her.
