Lebanon City Police are looking for help from the public in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery. If happened on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Family Dollar store in the 300 block of Cumberland Street. A man standing in line to purchase a few items had his hand in his coat pocket. He shook it around and said to the clerk, “Give me your money, I’m serious.” The clerk believing there was a weapon in his pocket handed over some cash.
The man turned to walk out of the store, but somehow dropped some of the money. The next person in line completely unaware that a robbery had just occurred, tried to return the cash to the suspect.
Police investigators released surveillance photos of the suspect which clearly show a Hispanic man wearing a dark hooded coat and blue jeans. The suspect made no attempt to hide his face.
