A Carlisle man is in prison after police say he threatened two people with a sword. Police say Ronnie Rush, 56, got into an argument with two people on the 100 block of North Bedford Street around 10:45pm Wednesday night. Things got heated, and Rush got out a sheathed sword. He threatened his verbal combatants, Timothy Duncan, 20, and Tammy Duncan, 41, with the sword and moved towards them. Police were called to the scene on a report of Rush chasing a woman with a sword.
At some point, the sword was wrestled away from Rush. He is charged with Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats and Harassment.
