Lancaster City Police investigating two shots fired incidents that may be connected

First incident:

Police responded to a call of shots fired in Lancaster on Saturday, March 21st.

It happened  just after 10:00 P.M. in the area of Ruby Street and Columbia Avenue.

A short time later, a 17-year-old shooting victim arrived in the emergency room at Lancaster General Hospital.

A group of people acquainted with the victim gathered at the hospital and created a disturbance.

As a result, police charged the following four people from that group with disorderly conduct:

Unknown 17-year-old male, City resident.

Unknown 16-year-old male, City resident.

20-year-old, Corina Miller, City resident.

22-year-old, Jessee Colon, City resident.

An investigation is currently underway to determine if the victim is connected to the shooting.

Officials say they believe the gunfire was a result of a fight that broke out at Park City Center, earlier in the day.

 

Second incident:

Lancaster City Police also responded to another shots fired incident on Sunday, March 22nd, just before 3:00 A.M. on the 400 block of South Shippen Street.

They say it may also be connected to the previous investigation.

Police surveillance cameras captured a 2001 Nissan Altima sedan entering the block.

They say, 27-year-old, Tyrell Boyer of Lancaster (pictured above) fired at least eight gunshots from that vehicle.

Some of those shots hit parked cars and the exterior walls of houses on the block.

Boyer faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm and criminal mischief.

Two other people were in the car at the time of the shooting.

The driver, a 23-year-old female and the male passenger, 24-year-old,  Alex Baker of Lancaster.

The investigation is ongoing.
