German Espinosa-Hernandez, 36, a native and citizen of Mexico was sentenced today by a federal judge to three years in prison and three years of probation following release. Espinosa-Hernandez also known as Ferdinand Gonzalez-Velez had plea guilty to illegal entry into the United States of America on March 11th. He had been ordered removed from the United States on three separate occasions in 2008.
Since 2003 Espinosa-Hernandez has accumulated seven prior criminal convictions as an adult, including resisting arrest and three driving under the influence of alcohol offenses.
The other Mexican illegal, Alberto Bautista-Sanchez, 30, was sentenced last week, July 23, by a federal judge to three years and five months in prison and three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to illegal entry into the United States on March 19th.
Between November 2002 and January 2013 Bautista-Sanchez was previously removed from the U.S. eight times. In addition since 2001 he has accumulated thirteen prior criminal convictions as an adult, including two aggravated felony sex offenses involving a minor.
