A Holtwood woman died Monday after a horse-drawn carriage she was riding in was rear-ended by tractor-trailer in Lancaster County.
The crash happened Sunday around 9:30 p.m. in the westbound lane of Lincoln Highway in Salisbury Township.
Police say Barbara King, 21, was ejected from the buggy during the crash. She was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where she later died, a hospital spokesperson confirmed.
The driver of the buggy, 23-year-old Stevie King Fisher, of Christiana, sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
