HARRISBURG, Pa. –A Harrisburg man is wanted for a litany of charges stemming from an early morning incident. Police officers approached a Nissan Altima with two people sleeping inside on the 1900 block of Forster Street at 3:46 a.m. They found Kashif Robertson, 31, asleep in the driver’s seat and a female in the passenger’s seat. Officers said both appeared to be under the influence of something.

When officers walked up to the driver’s window they reported smelling a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  While speaking to the police, Robertson reportedly admitted to smoking marijuana and began reaching into his waistband give the officer a baggie of marijuana.  Robertson then closed the driver’s side window and placed the vehicle into reverse requiring both officers to move or be struck by the vehicle.  Robertson then fled the area running several stop signs.  Robertson abandoned the vehicle in the 2000 block of Briggs Street and fled on foot.  Officers canvassed the area for both individuals but they could not be found.  A search of the vehicle revealed a digital scale, baggies of marijuana, and $500 cash.   It was determined that Robertson was on State Parole.  A warrant has been issued for Robertson on charges of Aggravated Assault on Police, PWI-Marijuana, Paraphernalia, DUI, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude,  Loitering and Prowling at Night Time, Disorderly Conduct, Driving on Sidewalks, Duties at Stop Sign, Restraint Systems, and Turn Signal Violations.
